New Director For Library District
The Webster County Library welcomes Terri York as the new Director for the
Webster County Library District. Terri replaces Gay Wilson who left the library
in April to work with the Springfield-Greene County Library District.
Terri was the Director of the Polk County Library in Bolivar for the last ten
years. Before moving to Bolivar she worked as a law librarian in Kansas City and
as the Director of the Marshall Public Library in Saline County.
Terri was raised in Camden County and graduated from Climax Springs High School.
She went on to Westminster College in Fulton and earned a Bachelor of Arts in
Business Administration. She continued her education with a Master of Business
Administration from University of Tulsa and a Master of Arts in Library Science
from University of Missouri-Columbia.
Terri has been a Marshfield resident for the last four years after moving to the
area to marry her husband David. They reside in Marshfield with their two
daughters.
