Friends of the Library
Two not-for-profit organizations support the advancement of the Webster County Library: Friends of the Garst Memorial Library and Rogersville Friends of the Library.
Friends of the Garst Memorial Library (Marshfield)
This booster organization for the Marshfield branch of the Webster County Library system raises funds for special projects, sponsors programming and provides volunteer opportunities. Contact the Friends via email at friends@webstercounty.lib.mo.us

- Provide book bags for fund-raising
- Guest Author, gift basket give-away, and refreshments during National Library Week
- Supply book prizes for the PTSG Carnival in March
- Support Epsilon Beta Club at Marshfield High School and supply prize for poetry contest during National Poetry Month
- Supply local church outreach group with children's books for families with few books in the home
- On-going used book sale at the front desk of the Garst Memorial Library
Rogersville Friends of the Library
This group holds fundraising and support activities on the south side of the county to build support for the Rogersville branch. To contact the Rogersville Friends, call Charlyce Ruth at 767-4632.
